My first poetry collection has sprouted from a question: How to be a woman in this world?

I didn’t find my answer in the culture I was raised in. I didn’t even find it in those people and places I sought out beyond modern culture. The way I found to live with this question was to look inside myself, and to write poetry.

A Woman Named the Universe is an invitation to step closer to the everythingness of life. That everythingness that runs through me and through you also. It’s also an expansion into alien worlds, the unknown, the infinite space of possibility. Finally it is an offer of intimacy, a reveal of my fullness so you can be closer to me.

Words are magic, and the Earth needs more witches and wizards.
